The Khmer Monks who smile away in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Just as I was sightseeing in Phnom Penh, at the Royal Palace, I came across these two monks who also were on a sightseeing siesta at the Palace. I have always been fascinated by them since and snapped this away. One of the few favourites I have had while on the road in Cambodia. This photo explicitly reminded me of how a Kingdom, past and present, are forever intricately linked by people, pious ones, for humanity. I have had this urge to capture monks in their walk-about and I have failed myself no more.
