As we capped the year of our travels and share these to the world, we leave inspiration to countless readers and followers, many of whom we have never met but inspired by their own stories of life’s travails. We travel bloggers give back through this list which we are left inspired, enthralled and driven to go on the road in 2013 and beyond. The 2012 Top Awesome Travel Destinations by Travel Bloggers is our own way of leaving the trails we took, the road less traveled we did with the hope that in it, you will find greatness in the ordinary experiences we have had, in the people we met on the road and the life-changing moments we have had while on it.

This list is completely ours to share. The destinations we deemed our best and our top-most escapes which inspired us. It is in the hope that through this list, we may inspire many of our readers to go check them out like we did, explore them and stay on the road talking to locals, getting inspired and leave nothing but trails so others can also tread on. Meet the Backpackers: Simon Petersen of Man vs World

I met Simon Petersen of Man versus World  on one of the twitter forums on Travel bloggers and instantly, we sort of magnet to each other’s posts. I loved his experiences in Southeast Asia, backpacking his way to Australia to London and to his many adventures of which I ardently follow. He is one of the few guys I have been inspired continually as a backpacker.
