Travels 196: I found the Puppy

While walking through Alona Beach, I have found the greatest reward, not in an individual who journeys through life alone like I am but through a cute little puppy I found and befriended. Owned by Koreans who operated a restaurant joint at the beach front of Alona Beach, the puppy is one that enjoys the company of ordinary people and complete strangers. Never a barker but cuddly. His eyes are piercing with kindness and one that evokes innocence.

As I and Travey were sitting by the beach, the puppy is sitting nearby too. He just waited that I recognize him and aim Travey at him for the nice memorable photoshoot. He cooperated and what I have taken is a masterpiece and as I said, a tumblr material.

While at Alona Beach, I never found someone but I have found the Puppy. A Korean puppy who exemplifies loyalty, friendship and trust. Many opportunities, day and night that I and this cute puppy were together.

One night having dinner, this puppy just sit by my side and waited for me to hand-feed him with those I also ordered. Unlike other dogs, he does not eat when you throw food at him but rather, when you hand-feed him, he will have the most hearty meal.

Indeed, I have found the puppy!

Travels 192: Alona Beach, the finest strip of sands

Away from the hustle and bustle of Boracay and other significantly famous beaches of the country, Panglao is home to Alona Beach which offers just the same, with wide array of activities, gastronomic delights and sun, more sun.

Having walked through its white sand beach of Alona in Panglao, Bohol, I can feel its beauty and more foreign and local guests were seen enjoying the beach. What the beach can offer is privacy since it is not yet congested and more white sand plus the sun. Families are seen frolicking in the beachfront enjoying the waters and the great opportunity to relax. Children seen playing and had the greatest fun while the beach offers safety and security.

Many guests are also spending time reading while enjoying the sun. The sea is an inviting embrace for the busy and weary traveller. It is a place for rest and recreation for the busy and the greatest chance for a lifetime experience of white sand beach called Alona Beach.

As I am walking through the white sand strip, I and my dependable Travey took our time off taking photos of boats and the sea. The sea breeze is inviting, the waters tropical and the coconut trees just simply reminds one that the beauty of nature is an echo that reverberates to those whose soul were refreshed as they took the journey through.

Travel 191: Alona Burger! The great way to eat in Alona Beach

Among the best experience I have while in Panglao was the taste I had when eating the Cheese Burger at Alona Burger. It was a blast and had the best experience to share. This is one burger I should say, captured my taste for western-style burgers while enjoying the breeze of Alona Beach.

Alona Burger just made it through my palate as one that reminds me of how fun it is to eat burgers while walking through any beach. I was never disappointed for the burger I had was the best I tasted in all of Panglao and of course, Bohol.

As my first contact of locals are those working for the Alona Burger, every time I passed them by on my way to the beach with my dependable Travey, they just waved hello and of course, I remember the cheese burger I had.

After a hearty meal at Alona Burger, they asked me to sign in the guestbook and the owner Chris emailed me thanking for my visit. I will surely get to go back before I heads home.
