Travels 224: In tranquillity we sail on

Most of our lives are characteristically defined not of what we naturally achieved but rather on how we responded to the challenges that come our way. We live in the days and years where challenges are abounding in all fronts: family, lovelife, career, financial freedom, debt, and of course, interpersonal relationships. Naturally still, we strived to become the best we can become because we dream and through these dreams, we achieve more to become more by less.

With it, I mean we become more by less because we aspire for a society where equality, respect, sincerity and tact is the observed norms. We achieve our dreams because we are driven for others; we are driven for others because we think less of ourselves and those that shaped us by ourselves. We obtain a fulfilling society because we care more by also showing genuine concern for others who have less than us.

In tranquillity we sail on, we pass through the most tumultuous chapters of our lives. It is because every after storm, we experience lightness of heart, openness of mind and a willing heart to sustain ourselves through our own commitment for others. Our commitment for others is much felt when we choose to lower our own stature to reach out for in our ability to reach out for those who have less than us, we felt it when we also feel their pains, their hopelessness and failed dreams. By it, one must immerse himself in the most taxing experiences to see beyond what is today. Similarly, like the lonesome journey across a flat and placid lake towards where our hearts felt free.

Tranquillity only happens when we achieve the highest form of inner peace brought about by a balanced LIFE and a lifestyle that is befitted for the greater good. People come and go, by our own bidding and adjustment; we accepted them as they come, much more as they go. Our chapters are replete with those exciting moments and reflecting failures which makes every turn of each page a profound experience. We sow tranquillity in moving on when we refuse to be bitter amidst all those that have been done unto us and those who hurt us. By tranquillity we sail on, we find inner peace and by inner peace, we deflect the bad and encourage the intangible greatness that define us through the life we live.

Travels 216: The Beautiful and Calm Lakewood, Panorama of Mist

Prodding with the call for what the beauty of nature is as it dawned in Biswangan, the location where Alindahaw Lakeview Resort, I and my friends and fellow bloggers Paula Peralejo and Charlie Fernandez as well as photo enthusiast, Dr. Bert Capatoy woke up early, drive to Alindahaw Lakeview Resort to witness what others have probably missed. It is my first time to do so as well so the adrenaline rush is high even on an early morning call time we set for ourselves.

Just as the sun rises and some clouds hovering over the lake, the mist that I so wanting to see and witness myself is right before my very eyes and within breath’s away. It is seen enveloping the entire lake on the early morn and the lake looks entirely a mirror facing the sky. The horizon, the hills, and the sky above is reflected on the lake.

The lake is very calm and I found my peace though I am bombarded with so many thoughts and concerns, others non-essentials, others important but I left them all. My mind just absorbed the immense beauty of the lake from where the Alindahaw Lakeview Resort nestled peacefully by. I am at peace and Travey too. We are on a spin for the greatest photography we will have for a single lake, we are both impressed.

The beauty of Lake Wood remains one of the best singular assets of Alindahaw Lakeview Resort. It is one where peace, tranquillity and beauty reside and the morning mists just make it more enthralling and exciting.

Lakewood is where I found my peace on this early morn!

Travels 179: Alindahaw Lakeview Resort: The Enchantment by the lake

By far, the only lake I knew that creates waves and behaves like a beach is the lake in the Municipality of LakeWood in Zamboanga del Sur. This is the very place where the famous Alindahaw Lakeview Resort invites visitors and guests to relax and commune with nature, embracing the cool breeze of the lake as one gets the taste of a resort that showcases lake-based activities and pools.

One of the many attractions of the lakeview resort is their infinity pool which boasts of a romantic view of the lake from where you are dipped. It exudes the kind of aura that is most felt in your early morning swim or at dusk swim.

Alindahaw Lakeview Resort has its rooms fitted with Filipino-sounding flowers and trees as its name. The resort has been designed to augment the beauty of the lake not to obstruct it so the rooms were designed to face the entire lake.

Its recent addition lately is the disco pool which can used by guests of the resort. I can imagine the MTV Grind type of parties occurring but as of this writing, I have not seen one yet but the disco pool is one great innovation of the resort that others do not have.

Alindahaw Lakeview Resort is one resort that leave anyone, guests and journeyers alike, enthralled and enchanted. The loveliest time is when the lake is calm and the mist and fogs are enveloping the entire lake, considerably the most romantic.
