Journey 146: of FEALTIES

In everything that happens to us, whether in relationships or work, it requires fealties to which we dedicate ourselves and consecrated ourselves to the causes of doing good unto others and do no harm to each one. It is on this notion that one must understand that fidelity to the vows we made or to the contract we enter, require much perseverance, sufficient understanding and strong will to fight temptations.

The fighting of temptations is a lifetime process, that as long as we ever lived and as long as we breathe, we will commit to no one except to those whom we choose to love, abide in such love and increase it as we live each day. Similarly to work, one must also be enormously loyal to the public trust and public good. One can never divest himself/herself from public interests when his/her work requires it thus become the man/woman of substance above all else.

Becoming of substance requires that one must also understand the complexities of commitment, that in no way, one can escape from temptations but what is relatively important is our ability to stay loyal and true to what we have committed, vowed and pledge. We may falter but in each and every fall, one must be able to rise up, dust themselves off, continue making the walk towards the direction of hope and redemption with a certainty of hope and the discipline of wisdom as well as guidance.

A Meaningful New Year’s wish

Prospectively, one has to aspire for a better 2011 but let us also be realistic at all times. Hitch your dreams on to a star but make sure you are firmly-footed and doing your task of achieving it. No one will ever give you free-meals all the time to make your dreams come true. Work for it then success will be sweeter each day.

My wish for everyone this 2011 is great love, good health, more opportunities for growth and peace.

Also, I will pray that 2011 will not be as challenging as 2010 but more opportunities and blessings to share to others who needs it.

Journey 135: Can I be HAPPY too?

The hardest part of LIFE is learning to laugh back when it hits you. It has much harder still, to look back at life’s challenges and trials with a happy face and say it was all what it was. Happiness, as they said is relative to every situation and to every circumstance. Some may find happiness in making other people’s lives much liveable each day and bearable at the onset. Some may also, at worse, find happiness in making other people’s lives miserable. The hardest part was that, both searches for what makes them happy in the end.

Some are happy because of the money they keep but how can u ever spend it wisely when you got sickness here and there? Some are happy because of their work, but how can one ever be happy when in the end, you get cancer because of stress? Some are happy because they love, but how can one ever be happy in love when one was cheated on and was wreaked apart? See, happiness is not in what one gets in LIFE but what one can feel through LIFE. Happiness is not about money, not about careers and work, not about relationships, it is about seeing through what one endures through LIFE which defines him as a person. Contentment further fuels happiness and yes, I agree, no one and no amount of riches can ever buy you happiness.

Lastly, a clown who makes us laugh and artificially be happy on their craft gets to be slapped by LIFE’s trials and challenges too thus frowns on it. So, can I be happy too?
