Travels 131: Prince Hotel Butuan

Journeying Butuan City has led us to stay in one of its finest hotels named The Prince Hotel along Montilla Blvd. The accommodation was a treat by our EVP Troy Asugas, the ever supportive EVP of JCI Greater Pagadian, Inc.

The Hotel was a new one in the City. I am impressed of their lobby but the elevator was slow. Well understandably, a new hotel has to make their elevators run efficiently in order to impress guests and visitors, however, I am just fine with it. The rooms were spacious and appropriately designed. Colors and hues are blended with the comforters in brown material and white linens.

The bath is also earthly toned. With just shower curtains creatively designed as a partition for the toilet, the bath is one that invites privacy and cleanliness at the same time. The lavatory is large and the mirrors are great ones.

The towels are also freshly pressed and ironed. Guest toiletries are available and their keys are still the usual keys to many hotels. Centralized-controlled electricity once the guest is out and retrieves the keys from where it is placed on the wall when the guest arrives.

One thing I appreciated about it is that the room has complimentary bottled waters. TV cable is great too.

The staffs of the hotel are gracious and friendly. I asked them about directions and the life in Butuan City at night, they always have a ready answer.

The restaurant near the lobby is just as welcoming and cozy. Ideal for little family affairs.

The Prince Hotel can be reached through telephone numbers (085) 342-7267/342-7587. They can be reached by email at vcduprincehotel@gmail.com.
